Fender Fretless Electro-Acoustic’F hole’ Precision Bass – Made in Japan using USA Parts. 1993 (Serial No N037330) I bought it in early 1990’s from USA and has been stored ever since. The electro-acoustic Precision is RARE, fretless is even rarer and Natural finish is even more rare. This is an amazing bass which is the closest you will get to a string bass. The neck is slim at the nut (1.625) which is halfway between the standard Precision and Jazz bass. The neck profile is a nice shallow’C’. Strings are flat wounds. This exact bass model was used by Glenn Cornick of Jethro Tull (see photo). Please refer to photos for full specification of this model taken from the Fender catalogue of the time. Condition is 9-9.5 out of 10. Comes with tolex hard case (not sure if it is actual Fender). Please note the following. The Silver Lace Sensor pick-ups have been replaced but the original pick-ups will be included. The bone two-piece bridge has been replaced by a single brass bridge. The original bridge is included. The cap top on one for the control knobs is missing. I have more photos available as I was limited to only 12 for this listing. Please message me if you wish to see these. When it’s gone it’s gone! Contact me to arrange (details below). May be able to deliver around M25 for cost of fuel.
