Brown leather case with leather carrying strap, nickel-plated lock and catch, the lid embossed’Johnston’s Three-Miles-To-Inch” and “Map of England And Wales in 25 Sheets’, opening to reveal a full set of 25 linen-backed maps, the case 9¼ inches wide, complete with key. This also has the original Johnstons yellow Bakelite viewing case. I have only ever seen one other example of this set on the internet back in 2012 – it is rare!
